From the President (March 2026)

Dear Fellow Braddock District Council Members,

This spring is shaping up to be a busy time for the Braddock District.  In addition to the Best of Braddock Awards and our council meeting this month, we look forward to the Annual Legislative Update.  Our local legislators will be joining us to share some of the highlights from this year’s session in Richmond. Check out the link below for specific details on current bills and resolutions.  You may also want to take a look at the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC). JLARC provides non-partisan research, reports, and recommendations that help shape public policy for various agencies within the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Upcoming Events:

Wednesday, March 4, 6:30PM at Braddock Hall

Best of Braddock Awards

Wednesday, March 18, 7PM at Braddock Hall

Guest Speaker: Matt Adams, Division Director at Solid Waste Management

April/May

If you have any topic suggestions or concerns that affect the Braddock District as a whole, we'd love to hear from you.  Thank you for supporting your local community, and I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.

Todd Murphy

President, BDC
