About The Event
The annual Legislative Update Meeting hosted by the Braddock District Council is happening this week on Wednesday, 17 May, 7 to 9 p.m. in Braddock Hall. Commitments have been received from Delegate Vivian Watts, Delegate Kathy Tran, Senator Dave Marsden, Senator Richard Saslaw, Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeffrey McKay, Braddock District Supervisor James Walkinshaw, Fairfax County School Board Chair Rachna Sizemore Heizer along with Braddock District School Board representative Meghan McLaughlin, and Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descanso. This will be a good opportunity to meet your elected representatives in a round-table discussion setting and become better informed on recently enacted laws and the new state voting districts that will be in effect in the November elections, when all 140 General Assembly seats will be up for grabs.
